Sehlke Consulting is Awarded Marine Forces Special Operations Command (MARSOC) Comptroller Financial Improvement and Audit Remediation Support

Arlington, VA – August 9, 2019 – Sehlke Consulting, LLC has been awarded a five-year contract in support of the Marine Forces Special Operations Command (MARSOC) Comptroller at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. Our team is supporting Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) efforts and the Manager’s Internal Control Program (MICP), with a primary focus on two simultaneous financial audits. Our team will take an interactive approach to define and develop Corrective Action Plans (CAPs), milestone implementation tracking and ultimately the resolution of Notices of Findings and Remediations (NFRs). Our work will allow for a rapid response, enabling the command to meet their Financial Management and Audit requirements and additional requirements from higher-level authorities.

About MARSOC: The Marine Forces Special Operations Command (MARSOC) is one of four components of United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM). MARSOC is commanded by a U.S. Marine Corps Major General (O- 8) and reports to the Commander, United States Special Operations Command (CDRUSSOCOM). He exercises command authority over a force of nearly 3,700 active personnel from both the U.S. Marine Corps and the U.S. Navy.
