Sehlke Consulting, LLC provides Subject Matter Expertise to the Army General Fund Audit Support (GFAS) team supporting Civilian Pay Processes. Sehlke Consulting assists the Army by addressing Independent Public Accountant (IPA) requirements, recommending new business processes or controls to resolve Notice of Findings and Recommendations (NFR), validating Corrective Action Plans (CAP), and communicating and coordinating changes with the Army’s Senior Leadership.
Currently, Sehlke is assisting the office with becoming more proficient with administering CAPs and assisting with the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Job Aids for stakeholders. We ensure that stakeholders are actively involved, stay engaged, and produce high-quality deliverables from the beginning to the completion of each plan. Focus areas include notifying Army stakeholders of sample testing requirements, monitoring the submission of Key Supporting Documents (KSD) to the Army Audit Response Tool (AART), addressing IPA follow-up questions and exceptions, and supporting the responses from Army stakeholders. Our team also conducts reporting status of sample testing, follow-up questions, and exceptions to Army Financial Management Command (FM&C) and providing FM&C statistical analysis of the results of the exceptions.
Sehlke provides continuous expertise and guidance to the Army stakeholders during the development and implementation of remediation solutions that address the audit findings and deficiencies identified during the audit.
