Sehlke Consulting is currently partnered with Ernst & Young in support of the Defense Health Agency (DHA) to facilitate the organization’s audit readiness and audit support, as well as financial management support requirements. The Sehlke Team helps to ensure that DHA’s mission as a Combat Support Agency to lead the Military Health System (MHS) integration of readiness and health and to deliver the Quadruple Aim of increased readiness, better health, better care, and lower cost is successfully completed in accordance with all overarching federal and defense guidance and policy.
The audit team is currently engaged in DHA’s FY21 audit and recently completed and submitted 400 new Provided By Client (PBC) and sample requests. The audit team is also involved in regular discussions to help guide the development and implementation of multiple Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) in response to various Notice of Findings and Recommendations (NFRs) to further advance the overall audit readiness of DHA. The financial management support team has also been operating at a high pace providing direct support to the MEDCOM team to manage the Accounts Payable accrual adjustment process. The financial management team is also managing manufacturer correspondence and disputes and executing payment reversals and reapplications due to accepted disputes and credits. This behind-the-scenes commitment to excellence helps the DHA complete its mission with its four guiding priorities of Great Outcomes, a Ready Medical Force, Satisfied Patients, and a Fulfilled Staff.
