Arlington, VA, February 25, 2021 – Sehlke Consulting announced today that it has made a $5,000 donation to the Center of Cancer and Blood Disorders of Children’s National Hospital in Washington, DC. The mission of Children’s National is to excel in Care, Advocacy, Research and Education (CARE), providing quality health care, improving health outcomes, and leading the creation of innovative solutions to pediatric health challenges. Sehlke’s donation will provide expert treatment for children who have acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
Sehlke employees also volunteered their support by participating in Children’s National’s Virtual Storytime Program. Employees of Sehlke recorded videos of themselves reading a children’s book and uploading it for broadcast on Children’s National’s own station for patients to enjoy.
