The Sehlke team that supports the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army- Cost and Economics (DASA-CE) (Unit Mission Costing Division) is an elite group that assists the Army decision-makers with cost, performance, and economic analysis.  DASA-CE is the principal advisor to the Assistant Secretary of the Army (Financial Management and Comptroller) (ASA (FM&C)) for all Army cost and economic analysis activities that tracks information for over 1,700 major Army weapons/ materiel systems. The Sehlke team has assisted the division with operational sustainment reviews, lifecycle sustainment plans, analysis of alternatives, cost-benefit analysis, and operating and support costs.  This has been accomplished for 13 major weapon systems to assess the weapon systems’ product support strategy, performance, and operation and support costs. Sehlke’s key competencies provide the logistics support defining those factors, training from a certified instructor, and data analytics relative to the various Army Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.  These systems include the Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-Army), Logistics Modernization Program (LMP), and General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS).  Recognized as mission enablers, the team was recently awarded a Certificate of Appreciation for outstanding service and generous support to the ASA (FM&C) Brown Bag Continuing Education and Training (CET) program for providing training to 48 ASA (FM&C) personnel.  This training illuminated a clearer perspective on logistics processes and how to pull and utilize the data from those ERP systems.
