Arlington, VA, September 15, 2017 – Sehlke Consulting, LLC has teamed with The Ravens Group Inc. to support U.S. Marine Corps Forces Cyberspace Command (MARFORCYBER). Our team is providing business financial management, internal controls evaluation, and analysis; process discovery, improvement, and implementation; and management, administrative, and operational support. The work focuses on supporting complex financial analysis and accounting reconciliation to identify and recommend solutions to abnormal accounting conditions, tri-annual reviews, expanding an existing Managers’ Internal Control Program (MICP), metrics and reporting, trend analysis, business and financial process improvements, budget execution analysis, and administrative, information, and management services. Our work will allow for a rapid response, enabling the command to meet their Financial Management and Administrative regulatory requirements and additional requests from higher-level authorities.
About MARFORCYBER: The Secretary of Defense recognized the significance of the cyberspace domain to national security, and directed the establishment of U.S. Cyber Command (USCYBERCOM) as a sub-unified command under U.S. Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM). In response, the Marine Corps established U.S. Marine Corps Forces Cyberspace Command (MARFORCYBER) as the Marine Corps’ service component to USCYBERCOM.
