Arlington, VA, May 6, 2021 – Sehlke Consulting is excited to welcome Mr. David Rose as the Sehlke Navy Sector Director. Mr. Rose brings over 26 years of Department of Defense (DoD) financial management experience. His proficiencies include: financial and business feeder systems management, Internal Controls Over Financial Reporting (ICOFR), creating and monitoring Corrective Action Plans (CAPs), Financial Improvement Audit Readiness (FIAR), accounting, budgeting, policy, root cause and trend analysis, and appropriation law. Mr. Rose is a problem solver who capitalizes on his background in computer science and leverages his extensive experience serving various agencies within the DOD to enhance the functionality of DOD core accounting, feeder, and business intelligence systems. As an Operations Director for Sehlke’s Navy Sector, his focus is to bring the best value and expertise to the Department of the Navy and project stakeholders.
Mr. Rose holds a B.S. in Computer Information Systems from Purdue University and a DoD Financial Management Level 3 Certification.
