Sehlke Consulting, LLC is proud to announce our prime contract award on the Navy Bureau of Medicine and Surgery (BUMED) Financial and Business Operations Management Support (FBOMS) services Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) vehicle. Sehlke has been awarded a prime contract supporting Navy Medicine’s Naval Medical Forces Pacific (NMFP) Accounting Department with Financial Management Support Services. Located at San Diego, CA, NMFP is one of the three (3) Navy Medicine Regions and is responsible for the financial management operations for the Western US and Pacific (Hawaii, Guam, Japan) medical commands. Sehlke’s most recent award includes supporting NMFP with audit support, reimbursable work order support agreements, Treasury G-Invoicing, accounting analysis and other financial management oversight actions for NMFP activities and the regional headquarters.
Sehlke’s on-site support to the NMFP Accounting Department is focused on accounting analysis that includes analyzing civilian payroll data in the Defense Civilian Payroll system (DCPS), researching invalid transactions, performing table maintenance, performing analysis related to pay codes, missing time and attendance data, prior pay corrections, and recommending potential corrective actions. Additionally, we prepare trend analytics, monitor accounting transactions for errors, and develop effective corrective actions to improve accounting processes. Our support in Treasury G-Invoicing includes transitioning all current support agreements to the G-Invoicing platform and reconciling and analyzing G-Invoicing populations. Our audit support includes supporting NMFP in executing Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) tasks such as audit response, document review and preparation, Corrective Action Plan (CAP) development, and root cause analysis of audit findings.
