In support of the Month of the Military Child, Sehlke Consulting announced today that it will serve as the Refreshments Sponsor for children attending the Good Grief Camp during the annual National Military Survivor Seminar being held over Memorial Day Weekend.
Survivors of fallen military personnel between the ages of 4 and 18 are invited to attend Good Grief Camp. The camp provides a safe and supportive atmosphere for children to learn coping skills, establish and identify support systems and create awareness that they are not alone in grieving their loved ones. 30% of all new TAPS survivors are grieving the death of a parent.
TAPS has provided comfort, care and resources to all those grieving the death of a military loved one. Since 1994, TAPS has provided hope through a national peer support network and grief resources, all at no cost to surviving families and loved ones.
